I am originally from the Chicago area and moved to Florida 23 years ago. When I was growing up and even to this day, I like things that sparkle. I have always had a facination with jewelry - the more, the better!
After marrying my wonderful husband and having a few kids, I began to sell Premier Jewelry. It allowed me the freedom to experiment with combining different pieces for different looks and also a variety of ways to wear each peice for different occasions. All the while I had been home-schooling our children and active in our church and then we added a few more kids for a total of 5! It became more difficult with my schedule to do Premier effectively, so I chose to get out of it.
My facination with sparkly things never ended. I had a necklace that I needed a pair of earrings to go with it, so I checked out the local bead shop to make a pair. That was it! I was forever hooked!
It was not only fun to wear jewelry, but now it was completely addictive to make it. Then it got to the point where my husband said, "You don't need jewelry to go with every outfit, do you?" Well, we know the answer to that! Of course, I do and then some. So, I kept making it and pretty soon fiulled my old Premier jewelry case with all of my handmade pieces.
The pieces that I create were usully inspired by an outfit or another piece of jewelry that I saw and thought, "Hey, I can make that!" Friends began to encourage me to sell my jewelry. After much thought and prayer, Beaded Treasures was born. This is a small, home-based business whoese owner is very much involved with husband, children and the Lord, but still loves to create.
Each piece is created to be unique and different and I propose never to duplicate exactly. I will make something similar if there is a piece you want no longer available. No other woman will have the same exact piece as you. My desire and prayer is that you will receive as much pleasure and enjoyment from wearing your Beaded Treasures piece as I did creating it.
